North Hills Instrumental Parents Association to hold third annual Funny Fundraiser

Connor Forsythe, Opinions Editor

The North Hills Instrumental Parents Association will hold the third annual Funny Fundraiser on Friday March 21, 2014 at West View Fireman’s Banquet Hall.

Now in its third year, the Funny Fundraiser’s goal is to give parents a good time while also raising a significant amount of money for the North Hills Instrumental Music Program. To attend, each person must donate $20. This donation includes soft drinks and snacks. Also, each person must be at least 21 years of age to enter.

There will be some fairly notable names attending the Funny Fundraiser. The headliner of the fundraiser will be David Kaye, a stand-up comedian known for his television appearances on ABC and Comedy Central. Another notable name at the fundraiser is Mike Wysocki. Known locally for his role on the WDVE morning radio show, Wysocki hit it big recently when he made his national television debut on the Arsenio Hall Show. His comedic experience will surely make him one of the hits of the fundraiser. Last but not least, Sharon Daly will be in attendance. She has performed at several comedy clubs across the country and will surely be popular with the audience.

Tickets are on sale now for the Funny Fundraiser. People can order tickets by e-mailing [email protected]. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. The Funny Fundraiser has been going strong for three years, and hopefully it will continue to flourish with the charitable donations it receives from its attendees.
