North Hills Astronomy Club hosts laser shows

Matt Whalen, Opinions Editor

In an attempt to raise money for a field trip, the North Hills Astronomy Club is holding laser music shows at the planetarium on a nightly basis from Feb 19– Feb 26.

The professional laser music shows combine the music of legendary artists and dancing lights. They feature some of the most popular songs of all time, including the music of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and popular summer hits. The shows run approximately forty-five minutes, and occur at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30.

All funds generated will go toward funding the Astronomy Club field trip to Wheeling, WV, where students will participate in a space mission simulation.
