Senior Noah Bostick beat the North Hills diving record on February 13, 2014.

During the North Hills Swimming and Diving senior night, Bostick  broke the record with a score of 328.20. Of his many impressive dives, Bostick demonstrated the front one and one half somersault with two twists, which has a very high degree of difficulty, adding to his high score.

Bostick said, “Breaking the record has been my goal since the first practice in ninth grade. Four years later, I finally made it happen. Nothing like waiting until the last minute!” This past weekend, Noah attended the diving WPIAL’s and earned first place, an improvement from his second place finish last year.

David O’Keefe, who has held the North Hills diving record since 1996 with a score of 316.50, took first place in the WPIAL championship during his junior and senior years. In 2011, O’Keefe was inducted into the North Hills Hall of Fame.
