As the coveted day of hunting draws near and the time to decorate becomes ever shorter, here are three easy and spooky D.I.Y decorations.

Glowing Eyes

The things you’ll need for this simple little craft are: empty paper towel or toilet rolls, something to cut with, duct tape, and glow sticks. Also, a sharpie if you want to draw the eyes first. Honestly, it’s a very simple process. Simply draw the eyes if you so desire, cut them out, insert a glow stick and duct tape the ends. Then, hang them around the house for a spooky effect for the season.

Lollipop Ghosts

For this cute little creation, you’ll need Kleenex, Dum Dum lollipops, thin elastics, a felt tip pen and ribbon. To start, you’re going to want to take two full size tissues and cut one of them into quarters. Place one quarter tissue in the middle of the larger one along with a lollipop after it. Bunch the tissue around the lollipop and wrap it up with an elastic near the base of the candy part of the lollipop. Finally, take your felt tip pen and draw two dots for the ghosts eyes. Now you’ll be able to hand out treats with a spooky flair when the night comes along.

Melted Crayon Pumpkin

This final project is a bit more complicated. If you remember the melted crayon trend that floated around for awhile, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. All you need for this one is a pumpkin (any color would work, but it should preferably be white), a ton of old, broken crayons (the colors are up to you), tacky glue and a hair dryer or heat gun. All you need to do is decide how you want the colors aligned on the pumpkin, take the crayons out of the wrapper, and cut them in half. Once your crayons are cut, use the glue to attach the crayons to the pumpkin. Once the glue has dried take a hair dryer to the crayons and melt away.
