Top 5 NFL Mock Draft

Justin Hawkins

  1. Browns:
    Saquon Barkley-

The best prospect in the draft is a running back out of Penn State. He is a multitalented athlete and can have a huge impact on any team. The Browns need to find an identity. I think this is the perfect guy for the job. He can come out of the back field as a receiver and perhaps run the ball better than anyone.

  2. Giants: Sam Darnold-

The best quarterback to be drafted with the best future goes number 2. The giants have an okay offense. Guys like Odell Beckham, Evan Engram, Sterling Shepard, Ereck Flowers, and Nate Solder keep them going. Now they just need a successor to an aging Eli Manning. The offense is young, and with Darnold’s talent, the team will go farther than ever.

  3. Jets: Josh Rosen-

The Jets are just terrible. They have no identity or star player to build around. The best thing to do is get one of the most NFL ready quarterbacks in the draft. Then in the next few years, put great players around him to help him improve as a player.

  4. Browns: Baker Mayfield-

The Browns drafted Saquon Barkley with their first pick. Barkley’s great, but the offense needs to keep the defense guessing. You can’t run the ball all the time, so get a quarterback with a good arm, and if needed he can get out of the pocket and throw a good pass. Saquon Barkley and Baker Mayfield on the same team would be deadly to defend, and would make the Brown’s offense in the top ten.

  5. Broncos: Josh Allen-

I know they just signed Case Keenum, but let’s face it, he is certainly not a star quarterback. They need someone for the future, and Josh Allen can sit behind Keenum his first year. Then next year, he can work on the things he needs to, and work with John Elway. Allen is quite a project, but can be great one day.
