On Tuesday night the Indians boy’s basketball team was handed their fourth loss of the season from Central Catholic. The final score was 53-50.

Nick Smith led all scorers with 20 points and Kam Taylor followed with 18. The Indians led 30-26 at halftime and continued to carry a lead until the 4th quarter. This loss means a season split with the Vikings of Central Catholic. The first meeting ended in a 84-66 win for the Indians.

The loss comes off a huge win at Butler on Friday, January 20th by a score of 55-50. Beating Butler got the Indians their first season sweep of the season. They have two more opportunities to get season sweeps this season against Seneca Valley (January 27th) and Shaler (February 3rd).

The Indians have six games remaining, four of them being conference match-ups. If they win out and get some help from other teams, they could get another section title. Catch the Indians on the road Friday, January 27th at Seneca Valley.
