North Hills Astronomy Club hosts Prismatic Laser Shows

From February 19th to February 25th, the North Hills Astronomy Club will be hosting Laser Shows in the high school planetarium.

The regular weekday shows feature an array of classic rock bands such as the Beatles, U2, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin. Each spans duration of around one hour with starting times at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m. On Saturday, February 21st, a special matinee at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. presents Lasermania; comprised of a collection of current rock and pop hits as well as an additional Beatles show at 1 p.m.

Tickets are solid near the planetarium entrance at the door on the third floor of the North Hills High School pricing at $7 for adults and $5 for ages 0-18. Seating is first come, first serve.

Funds go towards the Astronomy Club’s future trip to the Challenger Center in Washington, D.C. that offers a hands-on and educational experience for students interested in astronomical discovery, engineering, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concepts.
