On Tuesday, December 2, Journalism 2 students teamed up with the Best Buddies program to bake Christmas cookies for the West View Presbyterian Church Meals on Wheels program.

The event took place in Mrs. Medic’s foods room in the rotunda. The students baked over eight dozen cookies to be donated. The Best Buddies kids also received help in decorating from Megan Dulski and Sam Gillespie.

Best Buddies is run by Mr. Sabo and Mrs. Towers and was formed in the beginning of the 2013 school year. Meals on Wheels is an organization that offers and delivers a warm meal and check-ins to seniors.
