North Hills High School’s long-anticipated “Wake Me Up” lip dub video was released Monday, March 31.

NHTV released the lip dub video yesterday morning on YouTube, and it has already acquired over 10,000 views. The video is attracting much media attention, including a shoutout from 96.1 KISS radio.

The lip dub was filmed and produced by NHTV students Nick Ross, Mike Joos, Brandi Williams, and Troy Buchlmayer under the supervision of Mr. Brian Bellissimo. After a month of planning and preparation with various North Hills athletic teams, clubs, and activities, the entire student body at North Hills High School came together last Thursday to perform the lip dub during ninth period.

After viewing Pine Richland’s successful lip dub “Best Day of My Life” by the American Authors, Nick Ross was inspired to orchestrate North Hills’ own lip dub. The senior class voted on the song selection and chose “Wake Me Up” by Aviici. Since that time, Ross recruited the help of Joos, Williams, Buchlmayer, and Bellissimo, and the rest is history. Mike Joos and Nick Ross both said, “It was an amazing experience. It was awesome how the student body came together and worked on the project.”
