The air is crisp and leaves are falling which means one thing…the BEST holiday (Halloween) is right around the corner! People either love it or hate it but, personally I love it. As someone who has been passionate about candy since I was a little girl, I take Halloween very seriously. People who don’t like Halloween deeply disturb me. It’s an excuse to walk around your neighborhood for two hours and get a candy supply that should last you through the middle of December (if you Trick or Treat strategically). Indulging in your candy after hours of hard labor is one of the best feelings in the world. I always go for the Resses Peanut Butter Cups first. Not only is it the candy that makes people fall in love with the holiday, but you also get to express yourself creatively through your costume! Whether you’re dressing up as a character from a movie or TV show that’s trending, or you’re sticking to the classics and going as a ghost, dressing up and getting ready is always a fun time! Let’s also not forget about pumpkin carving! There is nothing more nostalgic than the feeling of sitting outside with my dad on a cool autumn day and drawing silly faces on a pumpkin that he would help me carve out. You don’t need great artistic abilities to make a jack o’lantern! It’s all about your own creativity. I know holidays like Christmas and Easter usually get all the hype, but I really do think that there is a magic about Halloween that makes people come together.
