Nikola Jokic who is one of the most dominant players in the NBA currently is having one of the best seasons in NBA history and it is being swept under the radar. He is setting records night in and night out proving that he is one of the best players in the league. Jokic is single handedly carrying his team the Denver Nuggets to be competitive enough to be in playoff contention.
Jokic just recently had a game where he had 61 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 rebounds grabbing himself a historic triple double. Jokic set his career high that night while also having his 3rd game in his career to score over 50 points. This is an unprecedented stat recently for the NBA and one of the most insane stats ever.
The MVP race this year is between Jokic and Shai-Gilgeous Alexander who has lifted his team the Oklahoma City Thunder to a historic high this season who are on pace to win 70 games tying the 1996 Chicago Bulls for 2nd most wins by a team in NBA history. It has been very close all season with Shai becoming the frontrunner as of late due to his dominant way of scoring points. The way that Jokic has been able to be as dominant as he is this season is insane and the fact that he will probably not win MVP this season is baffling.
