It was only about 3 weeks ago when the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers made a blockbuster trade sending star Luka Doncic to the Lakers. The Mavericks thought it was best in their perspective because they wanted to “win now” while Luka SINGLE HANDEDLY carried the Mavs to the finals just last year. Luka took this trade personally though and decided to get revenge on the Mavs.
When this trade went down everyone circled on their calendars the day that the Lakers and the Mavs faced each other and was at the edge of their seats watching it. Early in the game, the Mavs got the early lead with their other star and Luka’s former running mate Kyrie Irving hitting shot after shot. Then Luka officially arrived and was looking for revenge.
He is hitting shot after shot, basket after basket making a statement to his former team. He was staring at the Mavs bench with the whole arena in disbelief. Luka was on a rampage for the rest of the game, ending the game early in the 4th quarter with a triple double from him.
The Mavs were hit with a statement this game and Luka got his revenge. With Luka and Lebron now dominating the league the Lakers are looking like the biggest threat in the NBA. This game, after knowing that Kyrie is going to be out for the rest of the season, proves that the Mavs might have pulled off the worst trade in the NBA.
