So you don’t have a date for Valentine’s Day; No worries! Whether you got rejected or you’re just not a big fan of Valentine’s Day, this is the place to figure out how to spend your Valentine’s Day. It’s a day for your partner or someone you love or care about to express and show your love to you. Personally speaking Valentine’s Day is my birthday so I spend my Valentine’s Day celebrating my birthday with friends and family. But for most of you, you need other ideas to spend your Valentine’s Day.
I would take myself and a couple of friends to dinner because I would want to have friends comfort me and make sure that everything was going to be alright and just to have somebody there. As an alternative, I would go and binge a whole bunch of rom-coms or any other romantic style movies that day/night just to see or experience what it would be like to have a partner. I would have a positive attitude and mindset to get yourself through the day and show other people that you are taking it in well.
Making a playlist where there is only joyful and happy music is another way of celebrating Valentine’s Day. While you don’t have a Valentine or you are not celebrating Valentines, you can’t go wrong with trying to cheer yourself up with some feel good music. Personally, I would go with songs like “Happy” by Pharrel Willams, “It Was A Good Day” by Ice Cube, “I Had Some Help” by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen, and “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey just to name a few happy or feel good songs.
Those are just a few ways that someone could spend their Valentine’s Day by themselves. I feel like no matter what you think of Valentine’s Day, it is still worth celebrating in some form. Whether you celebrate alone, have a birthday on that day, or with your partner, it’s important to celebrate it because it’s about celebrating with the people you love and care about.
