Your partner, who is almost as adventurous as you, asks you to be their Valentine. As someone who loves doing new things, I know how difficult it can be to find something to do, especially around Valentine’s Day!!!
Dreaming of a Getaway?
As an adventurer, these are some places I would LOVE to go. I am only in 10th grade, so I won’t be visiting these destinations anytime soon. I hope you can picture what I have in mind and think of your own dream destinations.
1. A Bahamas Romance
You and your partner can have a relaxing time in your overwater cabana enjoying the ocean breeze!! Of course, the Bahamas can be a tad bit expensive… but dream big!! The views are stunning and the water is beautiful. The Bahamas offer many activities including boat rides, swimming with dolphins, and peaceful waters for you and your partner to enjoy!!
2. Exploring New York City with your Other Half
Enjoy a cozy trip to a luxury hotel in New York City!! The scenery is one of a kind with large buildings all around. Hotels throughout the city give you deals for Valentine suites, sure to wow you and your partner! You can even get your own personal tour guide to show you around the city. You might not be able to take such a trip at the moment, but just remember… dream big, and make those dreams… a reality.
3. Boardwalking with Bae
Get to know your lover more on a peaceful stroll down a boardwalk!
There are many boardwalks to choose from, but the most popular destinations are Ocean City, Maryland and Charleston, South Carolina. At night, you and your partner are guaranteed the best time! To make your experience even better, there are many nice restaurants on the boardwalk to choose from!
Adventures Minutes Away
Are you a Pittsburgh local? You’re in the right place! If you are unable to take a trip out of town but still want to have an amazing time, Pittsburgh offers many options. This city has perfect date night locations for whatever mood you are in!!
1. Yummy Places to Eat
Pittsburgh has many restaurants including: The Melting Pot, Grand Concourse, and North Shore Tavern (just a few of my favorites). The Melting Pot is known for its fondue. You’re sure to impress your date and have a luxurious experience if you take them here! Grand Concourse is a perfect spot for seafood lovers! North Shore Tavern is just a short walk away from PNC Park! If you decide to go on your Valentine’s Day date later in the month, you could even go to a Pirates game after grabbing a bite to eat.
2. See the Sights with the Love of your Life
Not only do you get an amazing dinner, but you can see some beautiful sights as well!! (Other than your date, of course)… Mount Washington has a beautiful overlook of the city. Downtown is also very dreamy with its picture perfect lit up bridges. Looking for places to take photos with your bae? Come to either of these spots!
