In elementary school, Valentine’s Day was one of my favorite days of the year! Those little candy boxes we made were so cute! I always had so much fun figuring out which design I should do. My sisters would help me cut out the paper, add the glitter, and make the designs. It was the perfect time for sister bonding. When I was little, Valentine’s Day was a day that I could share my creation and kindness with everyone. We would all pass out our candy and compliment each other’s boxes. Those boxes would tell me something about each of my classmates. It seems that as I get older, Valentine’s Day becomes less important. It is now seen as a holiday for the people in relationships, but that’s not true. Valentine’s Day is a holiday where you get to celebrate with all the people you love. No matter if that’s your significant other, your friends, your family, or even your classmates. I absolutely adored seeing all of those boxes, so I’m going to rate 10 that I have found online. Some of these boxes are super creative and tell me about the person who made them, while others are in need of a little help.
Hot Wheels
I absolutely love this box because it’s unique. They made it look exactly like a hot wheels toy set. I love how even the name matches the theme and stands out along with the rest of the box. 10/10
Shark
I think this box is super cute. It shows the irony of these boxes because it’s a shark holding a heart. Sharks are seen as scary creatures, but they turned it into a cute shark with love. 7/10
Harry Potter
There was always at least one Harry Potter obsessed kid in my class. This box is unique and looks really hard to make. I love that there is a heart on the envelope and that they made it an actual setting in Harry Potter. 10/10
Spider Man
This box is really creative. It’s really cool how the top/envelope part of the box is the roof of the building. It’s not just a spider man themed box, but it’s a box that makes it look like spider man in action. It could be a little more detailed but pretty good for a kid’s box. 6/10
Cat/Tiger
I feel like this is the reality of decorating a shoe box in elementary school. It’s very interesting to look at, but cute in a way. I can see the effort and frustration that was put into this piece of work. 5/10
Minecraft
This is how I know someone likes Minecraft. I think this is called the “Creeper” in Minecraft. It could be someone’s favorite Minecraft character, or even a big part of their personality. 7/10
Monster
I think this box is so cute. I absolutely love the cute monster boxes that I see. It’s one of the most basic boxes, but I just love it so much. There’s so many different ways to decorate the monster and it always looks so good. 9/10
Soccer
I really like this box because it shows someone’s passion for soccer. It gives you a fun fact about them. They probably really like soccer and I think it looks really sharp and realistic for a box. 8/10
Drawing
I feel like this box could have so much more to it. There’s no sparkles, or stickers, or anything. It looks like it only took a total of two minutes to make. 2/10
Hearts
I think this box is really nice and all, but it’s just so basic. I feel like slapping some hearts on a box isn’t going to tell me anything about you. This looks like a last minute, super quick option. 4/10
