Have you ever listened to A Boogie Wit da Hoodie? Well I have been listening to him for years and this year, on October 7th, I got to see him perform live. It was hands down one of the best concerts I have been to so far. His opening performers were so amazing too. One of them was a dj, and he played all hype songs such as, “Pound Town 2”, “SkeeYee”, and “Just Wanna Rock”. I went with my two friends Taylor and Emelie, and we had box seats. We had such a great view and we had such an amazing time. A Boogie played most of his more popular songs, which I was not complaining about since I knew them word for word. He played some of his old songs too and I was screaming all the lyrics to every song. The whole experience was overall amazing. I got to see one of my favorite artists with my two best friends.
When we got there, parking by itself was hard to find, and we ended up parking in front of a random house and walking about 10 minutes to get to the doors. We had to walk up a huge hill in the cold and windy weather, and when we got to the doors there was an even longer line. We stood outside for maybe about 30 minutes in the cold. We finally got inside and got to our seats and we were all so happy with our view. It was where you were up high but not too high to where you can’t see the singer on the stage. We had the time of our lives just being girls at a concert.
I bought 2 sweatshirts and one tee-shirt. The total was around $170. At the time I definitely thought it was worth it, but looking back at it I wish I would’ve only gotten one thing. The food, on the other hand, was so good. Yes, I did only get chicken tenders and fries. But they were finger lickin’ good. The concert itself was such a night to remember. My friends and I were yelling and singing all night. By the time we got out our voices were all gone. A Boogie really knows how to put on a good concert. He was very entertaining and amusing to watch and listen to.
Next time he comes back to Pittsburgh, I am so going again with my friends. A Boogie’s concert was one of the best ones, and one of my favorite concerts, that I’ve ever been.
