58th Annual Marching Band Festival

Rebekah Froehlich, Website Editor

Every Friday night the North Hills Marching Band proudly takes the field to deliver an amazing halftime show for the audience. However, this Saturday evening the band will be taking the field for themselves. They have invited many other bands from the area to share their hard work as well at the 58th annual North Hills Marching Band Festival.

This year the band will be showcasing their Kings & Queens show in addition to pregame. Look forward to songs from your favorite classic artists: Elvis, The Jackson Five, Elton John and Queen. Keep your eyes on the field as there are a few surprises along the way.

“Reaching Beyond” is the motto of the 2018-2019 band, and they are living up to it. From the first rookie night up until now, every member has worked tirelessly not only for the show, but for each other. It is evident in every performance that this is a band like no other. They are beyond excited to share this pride at the festival and to see other bands that have been working just as hard.

We hope you can make it to the 58th annual North Hills Marching Band Festival this Saturday September 15th at 7pm at Martorelli Stadium. Admission is $8 and children 5 and under are free. There will also be a bake sale to contribute to the NHIPA fund that goes towards supplies for the band throughout the year. Overall, it is going to be an eventful night filled with music and friendship. Please consider joining the band on their evening.
