On Tuesday, January 10 the Indians got their 10th win of the season, improving to 10-1 on the year and 4-0 in section. They’re 10-0 in their last 10 section games dating back to last year.

The team took down Shaler by a score of 85-70. Garret Barto, Nick Smith, Andrew Paulaskas, Luke Chutko and  Kam Taylor all had double digit points. Barto topped the scorers with 20 points. North Hills did a great job of limiting Shalers’ top scorer, Tanner Reinhimer, to 17 points. The Indians had great control of the game from the start. They led after the first half by a score of 43-30. Then, in the second half it was more of the same. They led 68-45 at the start of the 4th quarter and were able to get some guys off the bench and into the game.

This was a great game for the Indians as they get ready for a home section game against the Pine Richland Rams. This is the first meeting between the two since the WPIAL Championship game in which the Rams won 73-50.
