Healthy Ice Cream

What You’ll need:
4 frozen bananas
½ cup liquid (water, coconut water, coconut milk, almond milk, etc)
2 tablespoons peanut butter
2/3 cup coco/carob/ cacao powder
1/3 sweetener (stevia, agave, maple syrup) OR 4 dates (pitted)

How to:
Cut the bananas into thirds before freezing them. This will make it easier for the blender to break them down. Once bananas are frozen (after a day or so) you’re ready to start! Add bananas to blender first, followed immediately by the liquid. The liquid is going to make the ice cream creamier, especially if you use a type of (preferably plant based) milk. Once this becomes a smooth consistency, add the rest of the ingredients. If you choose to use dates as the sweet factor, it will take a little longer to blend due to dates gumminess. Once everything is blended, pour into a bowl and add toppings; strawberries, blueberries, cacao nibs, and cinnamon just to name a few!
