The Girls Basketball Team got a big win on senior night, defeating West Allegheny with the score of 48-28. It was a great night from the beginning, starting with Senior Night in front of a big crowd and the much loved North Hills Band.

West Allegheny took a 2-0 lead to start the game, but that did not last long. North Hills took a 22-17 lead into halftime and ended up outscoring West Allegheny 26-11 in the second half, improving the girls overall record to (12-5). The two seniors paced the Indians again. Jamie Halloran’s 18 points and Sierra Ungerman’s 8 points lead the way for the Indians on Senior Night.

The girls are back in action later this week at home Thursday night as they play the Shaler Titans with an overall record of (9-9) and a section record of (4-6). With a win, the Lady Indians (7-2 in section) would eliminate Shaler and clinch a spot in the WPIAL playoffs for the first time in five years.
