Beginning Wednesday, March 25, 4 North Hills musicians will be participating in PMEA state festivals.

Senior violinist Christie Adamiak, senior bassist Eric Meister, and junior trumpet Courtney Labritz will be participating in All State Orchestra. Sophomore French horn Emily Kaup will be participating in All State Band.

To get to this state event, the students had to go to districts and audition. This audition advanced them onto regions and then the audition at regions allowed these students to be included in the All State event. The festival will be held in Hershey and will conclude with a concert on March 28. When asked about the honor, Christie Adamiak said, “It’s amazing to see the result of all the hard work, time, and effort that each musician invests in, coming together in such an incredible way. The talent that the kids at states have is unbelievable and I’m so thankful for the chance to be a part of it. Also, watching the whole process as everyone moves from districts to regionals and eventually to states is really neat. The memories made aren’t going to be easily forgotten.” Congratulations to these musicians on this great accomplishment!
