Universities to visit North Hills High School

Andrew Feltz, staff writer

Representatives from colleges and other institutes of post-secondary education are coming to meet with students throughout September and October. During the visits, representatives will talk with students about the college and answer any questions that students have, such as questions about tuition or scholarships.

Here is a list of those who will come to North Hills in the week of September 29 through October 3:

September 29- Bowling Green State University at 9:50 A.M.

September 30- Edinboro University of PA at 8:20 A.M.; Chatham University at 9:50 A.M.

October 1- Grove City College at 7:38 A.M.; John Carroll University at 8:22 A.M.; Carlow University at 9:50 A.M.

October 2- Penn State University at 9:06 A.M.

Students can go to the Counseling Resource Center for more information. If students wish to attend the visits, they must have a pass. The guidance counselors strongly recommend that interested students attend these meetings because colleges do not like “stealth applicants,” or students that apply but have not checked out the school or met with representatives.
