The scoreboard says it all. When the buzzer sounded the scoreboard read five to two, North Hills with the win. The goals from North Hills were from Marissa Zupen, Jordan Trama, and a spectacular performance from Jenna Buchlmayer with three goals.

The Lady Indians scored first, ten minutes into the game by Jenna Buchlmayer, which was one of her three goals. Then 19 minutes in, sophomore Marissa Zupen scored to make it two to zero going into half time. To start the second half, Brashear scored making it two to one. Fifteen minutes in the second half, Jenna Buchlmayer struck again making it two goals for her so far, but she wasn’t done yet; she scored again just three minutes later. Brashear answered back though, making it four to two. Jordan Trama put the Indians into an even larger lead scoring the final goal in the game.

This game was also Senior Night, to honor the senior players. This year there are seven seniors. They are Jess Welka, Lauren Wiles, Nicole Polaski, Carly Rothbauer, Caitlin Withers, Sarah Hulbert, and Jenna Buchlmayer. Before the game, the girls walked the field with their guardian and received flowers and pictures. All the other players made signs and decorated the field with the seniors’ numbers and names.

In upcoming games, the girls varsity plays Vincentian at Martorelli Stadium, and Seneca Valley away at Seneca.
