Senior Year Bucket List
April 24, 2014
High school is slowly coming to an end for those of us who are graduating, so why not make the most of it while you still can? Don’t let high school pass you by- here’s a bucket list of things to think about accomplishing before graduation day!
1. PLAN AN EPIC PROMPOSAL.
Every girl wants to be asked to prom in a cute way, whether or not they actually admit it. Think of a good way to ask and earn yourself some brownie points!
2. GO TO PROM.
Senior prom is notoriously known as the best dance in all of your high school experiences. You are sure to have a fun and unforgettable time dancing with your friends and classmates.
3. HAVE A MOVIE MARATHON OF HIGH SCHOOL CLASSICS.
Throw on some comfy clothes, bring a sleeping bag, and have a chill night watching some of your all-time favorite high school movies, such as Mean Girls, 13 Going on 30, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
4. TELL YOUR FAVORITE TEACHER HOW MUCH THEY MEAN TO YOU.
There has to be that one teacher that you feel the most comfortable with or one who has even helped you out with your college applications or just daily advice! A thank you goes a long way!
5. PULL AN ALL-NIGHTER (NOT FOR STUDYING).
Get together with a friend or two and just stay up all night! Talk about your favorite memories together and don’t sleep!! (Don’t bail on school the next day!)
6. REMINISCE WITH YOUR YEARBOOK.
A yearbook is “worth a thousand words” as they all say… so why not spend some time looking back at your funny school pictures and memories of you, you friends, and the staff from your elementary school years on. Then, make sure to ask your mom what she was thinking when she dressed you!
7. MAKE AMENDS.
You are in the process of starting a new chapter in your life, so why end your current chapter negatively? Maybe it’s an old friend or ex boyfriend/girlfriend, but you sure don’t want to hold grudges while you’re walking for graduation. Be the bigger person!
8. GO ON A DATE.
Maybe there’s someone you have been trying to avoid or don’t know how you feel about. Give them a shot just to say you at least tried, even if it doesn’t work out. You don’t want to graduate with any regrets!
9. PLAN A SCAVENGER HUNT.
Get a group of friends together, split into two teams, and follow a scavenger hunt. It’s a fun way to bond and make some memories! Some ideas are to hug a stranger, get a straw from Starbucks, take a picture with a stranger’s pool , etc. There are so many ideas- check out Pinterest!
Honestly, summer and college are all that are probably on your mind, but remember: these are the best years of our lives!
