On Thursday, April 17, the North Hills Golf Team will be sponsoring a fundraiser for the Western Pennsylvania MS Society.

With the slogan “Put a lid on MS,” this fundraiser will allow students to wear a hat in school for a minimum donation of $1.00.  Students will be able to place their donations, before 7:20, in designated areas such as the main lobby, the cafeteria, and the LGI entrance to the middle school.

The Western Pennsylvania MS Society is a group that raises money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. MS is a disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain.

Flyers containing information on the fundraiser were given out in homeroom. This will be the first time that hats can be worn in school since 2009.
